Privacy Policy according to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

Dear user, we would like to inform you that your personal data collected directly from you will be used by AssoCounseling in full compliance with the current laws in force.

1. Data controller

The data controller is AssoCounseling, a non-profit association with registered office in Florence at via Giotto n. 3, in the person of its legal representative pro tempore. Any request relating to privacy should be addressed to: AssoCounseling | Personal Data Protection Office | Via Giotto 3 | 50121 Florence (FI) or to the certified email address segreteria@pec.assocounseling.it.

2. Data collected, purpose and legal basis of processing

We use your data to guarantee your access to our services and their provision, including:

– contact form

When you use our services, you agree to the processing of the personal data you provide to us. The data will be processed exclusively for the purposes for which they were collected. We process two types of data:

– data provided by the user
– data we collect automatically

2.1 Data provided by the user

2.1.1 Contact form

When you use our contact form we ask you to provide us with some data necessary for the provision of the service: name(s), family name, city, country, job title, e-mail address.

The processing of your data is based on your consent by clicking on the button Invia presente sul modulo di contatto.

2.2 Data we collect automatically

We collect the following data through the services you use:

– technical data: for example IP address, browser type, information about your computer, data relating to the current (approximate) location of the tool you are using;
– data collected using cookies or similar technologies: for further information, we invite you to visit the section Use of cookies.

2.3 Data of children under 16 years of age

If you are under 16 you cannot provide us with any personal data nor can you send us messages and in any case we do not assume responsibility for any false statements you provide. If we become aware of the existence of untrue statements, we will proceed with the immediate cancellation of any personal data acquired.

3. How we ensure the protection of your data

The processing of your data is carried out using IT platforms and tools suitable to guarantee its security, correctness and confidentiality and with the use of suitable procedures that avoid the risk of loss, theft, unauthorised access, illicit use, unwanted modifications and diffusion. The data will be processed exclusively for the purposes referred to in the art. 2. Only the data strictly necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes are collected and processed for the period indicated in the art. 6.

4. Any recipients or categories of recipients of personal data and communication to third parties

The data controller uses data controllers to achieve the purposes specified in point 2, in any case suitable to ensure the adoption of technical-organizational measures suitable to satisfy compliance with privacy legislation. In particular, your data may be communicated to providers for the management and maintenance of the magazineitalianadicounseling.it website, to email service providers and to service providers for newsletter management. Without your consent, the data collected may be communicated to administrative and judicial bodies and authorities pursuant to legal obligations.

5. Transfer of personal data

This website may share some of the data collected with services located outside the European Union area. In particular, with Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft (LinkedIN).The transfer is authorized on the basis of specific decisions of the European Union and of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, in particular decision 1250/2016 (Privacy Shield – here is the information page of the Italian Guarantor), for which no further consent is required.The companies mentioned above guarantee their adherence to the Privacy Shield.

6. How and for how long will your data be stored?

Your personal data will be processed for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes referred to in point 2, in compliance with your privacy and current regulations.For the newsletter we keep yours until you unsubscribe from the service.

7. Is the provision of data mandatory?

The provision of your personal data is necessary because in the absence of communication we cannot guarantee the provision of the requested service.

8. How can you get information about the data, modify it, delete it or have a copy?

In this paragraph we explain what rights the privacy legislation recognizes you.You can exercise your rights:

– by sending an email to our certified email address: segreteria@pec.assocounseling.it.

8.1 Right of access

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your data is being processed and, if so, to obtain access to such data and the following information:

– the purposes of the processing;
– the categories of personal data processed;
– the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be communicated;
– the envisaged retention period of personal data, where possible, or the criteria used to determine this period.

8.2 Right of rectification

You can request rectification of your data at any time.

8.3 Right of cancellation

Deletion of data may be requested if one of the following reasons exists:

– if your personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
– if you have revoked the consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legitimate reason for the processing;
– if you object to the processing and there is no further legitimate reason to proceed with the processing;
– if your personal data has been processed unlawfully;
– if your personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation under Union or Member State law to which the data controller is subject;
– if your personal data has been collected in relation to the offer of information society services to minors.

If one of the aforementioned reasons exists you can request the deletion of your data.

8.4 Right of limitation

You can obtain the limitation of processing if at least one of the following hypotheses exists:

– if you contest the accuracy of your personal data, for the period necessary for the data controller to verify the accuracy of such personal data;
– if the processing is unlawful and you oppose the deletion of the personal data and instead ask for its use to be limited;
– when the data is necessary for you to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court, while the data controller no longer needs it for processing purposes;
– when you have objected to the processing and we are awaiting the necessary checks to determine whether the legitimate reasons of the data controller prevail over those of the interested party.

8.5 Right of opposition

You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time:

– citing legitimate reasons connected to your particular situation, or when the processing is necessary for the execution of a task of public interest, carried out for scientific, historical or statistical research purposes or connected to the exercise of public powers vested in the data controller or even if the processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the data controller or third parties, even when profiling is foreseen in the context of such processing;
– if the processing is aimed at direct marketing activities (including profiling connected to direct marketing).

8.6 Right to portability

Where technically possible, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you and provided by you to the data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format if:

– the processing is based on your consent or on a contract
– the processing is carried out by automated means.

The exercise of the right to portability is without prejudice to the right to cancellation.

8.7 Right to withdraw consent

You can revoke your consent at any time.

8.8 Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Come tutte le norme, anche quelle linguistiche sono un artefatto politico, sociale, culturale. Quella del maschile sovraesteso è una regola linguistica che di recente l’Accademia della Crusca ha definito come non discriminante. Di fronte alle norme ci sono sempre due possibilità: obbedire o disobbedire. Questo articolo vuole essere un atto intenzionale di disobbedienza grammaticale che intende ribadire – proprio con le parole – la forza dirompente del linguaggio. Come tutte le dis-obbedienze, è dis-turbante e dis-ordinante, anche percettivamente per chi legge; eppure: considerate che ogni qualvolta la piccola "ə" genera un senso di fastidio, la forma di straniamento è analoga a quella vissuta da chi appartiene a una minoranza a cui una maggioranza – sociale, politica, linguistica e sessuale – impone, nel nome della regola, dell’estetica o della leggibilità, l’adeguamento come normale. E come l’obbedienza a un ordine continui ad essere una virtù.
